Day-One Kitten Formula, 3.5 lb

1. Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts warm water (100 °F). 2. Blend until powder is dispersed in water and feed soon after mixing. 3. For kittens, feed 2 to 3 teaspoons per 4 ounces bodyweight daily, divided into 4 to 6 feedings. 4. Feed in a bowl when kittens are able to lap the formula. 5. When kittens are 3 to 4 weeks old, add kitten food to formula to make a thin gruel. 6. Wean puppies completely from formula when they are 6 to 8 weeks old. 7. As a nutritional supplement for cats, mix powdered formula into kitten or cat food and supplement daily ration with 1 to 2 teaspoons formula per 5 lbs bodyweight.
